i guess maybe your brain is waking just before your body, which would account for not being able to move (due to SP), and perhaps even for that blood rushing feeling. like, your body is preparing to start moving again? |

I had this several times before. I sometimes woke up in the middle of the night and when I closed my eyes or sit still It was like the sound and feel that the blood pumped fast through my head. It kinda scares me and makes my head kinda numb. The most recent one was when I woke up and I had SP for the first time. I had my eyes open but I just couldn't move a muscle. Then again the blood kinda rushed through my head in a constant motion and then I woke up |

Isn't this just a head rush? It is what you get when you get up too fast. |

Reality Check! (new)| |Why you're not getting LUCID| |Why NOT to be Scared of SP
You can get all kinds of weird feelings during sleep paralysis. Lots of people get the feeling of energy or electricity pulsing through their body, or vibrations. You can also hear bizarre sounds. Sometimes, I feel myself vibrating so hard, it feels like my head is going to explode. If it happens, just relax, know it is a hallucination, and it will pass. |

Well, it's kinda hard to do that but I'll try it. Thanks for the advices. |

Hello there. Last night I followed your advices. I woke up in the night and again I had that buzzing in my ears and rush in my head. I've remained calm and after a few seconds a dream started but I wasn't lucid. This happened 2 more times through the night. Is this supposed to be WILD(except the part with the non-consciuos). |
