This morning's DILD (or was is a WILD)?

      Hi All,

This morning I woke up around 6 am, meditated into sleep paralysis, and then went back to sleep.

After this, i had a vivid dream and noticed inside a lady's teeth were beyond weird so this was my reality check to go lucid. This was my first time using RC! It worked! I started spinning to keep myself from getting overexcited and that worked, too. Though in the future i think i might avoid that step... with more practice. Just go... okay. Next... ???? Maybe check out my hands if i have to, i think that's less energetic as a first measure.

      A few questions.

I assume this was a DILD but am not sure since it came on the heels of my SP meditation. But entry was from inside the dream.

Once lucid, i looked around for people to talk to. I had been in a rec room. I couldn't find anyone anymore. What could I have done to summon people up?

So I spent my time investigating the empty room. Looking around, checking out the walls, carpeting, etc... (You can see why I wanted some people to show up!) Plus, I was kind of "in the mood"....

By the time I decided to fly somewhere else the LD had faded a bit too much.

      Any ideas?

      Many thanks,
      bg

Well, first off, congratulations on lucidity! :bravo: It's great isn't it? And good job on the spinning to remain in control! Now, there are tons of things you can do to summon a DC. One of them is contained here, although that may not be the method for you (so experiment!) You can also check out the tutorials section if you haven't already. I think it has something on DC's...
Whatever the case, something that I've found works for me is that I think about who I want to be in the dream with me, and then just continue on in the dream, and they show up. Perhaps if you had a specific person in mind that you wanted to "summon" then you would just find them in the dream. Can't hurt to try .
      ...And then to dream...

From the way you described it, it sounds like a DILD. I'm pretty sure you have to be conscious for the whole transition between being awake and entering a dream for it to be a WILD. Either way, congrats on the lucid! =)

      Hi All,

love this forum! i am sooo grateful that you people take time for us newbies... (i have had some spontaneous lucid dreams, but maybe only 5 that i've created on my own). i found this site shortly after I learned you could do that!!! i am so inspired by all resources to help keep going and learning... plus having some new lucids helps too!
      love the community energy here!

did some checking on DC's... thanks for the hints! can't wait to try some of the suggestions. And yes, probably was a DILD though I am guessing it probably was helpful coming on top of my WILD practice.

      best,
      bg
