      Thnx ExoByte.
I'll try it out tonight, but there is obviously very little chance I will get a lucid, so it may take a while.

Any personal experiences showed up useful strategies for becoming lucid - that you wouldn't mind sharing?

For a beginner, always do it by the book. The time for experimenting will come. But as long as you're new and trying to get into Lucid Dreaming, follow the basic 'rules.'

      Dream Journal
      Check for Dream Signs
      Reality Check constantly

If you're bold, try a WBTB and WILD.

I find DILD's very hard to do. I got a partial VILD/WILD on my first proper attempt (last night) using an exerimental idea, but I am uncertain that it will work again so I will try it again tonight, and then go by the book.

If you could get yourself into an area of pure white - and then bring in a DC you may want to 'interact with' , or an object, would it be possible to not focus on the surroundings as much since they are nonexistant?
I once literally walked into a lucid that was "an area of pure white" and there were houses made of algae floating in it and, no, it didn't seem any different than seeing things against a "background".
