      Question hello :)

hiya everyone, im Alex (Brandedahall). and im looking forward to controling my dreams and getting to know you awesome guys better.

also on another note i've been having some trouble. i tried to do Wild for the second time yesterday.

(the first time i nearly disconnected but got nervous and stopped )
then yesterday i tried to do it again and this time i said 'i AM going to WILD'. in total i tried to WILD about 4 times but the first, third and fourth trys didn't work, but the second nearly did.

as i neared to the point that my first ever try got to and went even more, but just as i thought i was getting close to the 'line' my body woke straight up and wouldn't let me get to sleep for about 30 mins approx (i was quite sleepy by that time).

any info on what i did wrong would be appreciated as im quite interested in lucid dreaming.

      peace out

Hello Alex, welcome to Dream Views!

Unfortuantely I have no advice for your WILDing problem, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come along and help you.

Welcome to Dreamviews! WILDing takes a bit of practice. Make sure you remain calm throughout the whole process. If you get too excited once you begin to feel SP you can easily come out of SP. Stay calm remain still and try to passively observe/listen to the HI or HH you may see. I suggest Jeff's technique for WILDing first. You should take a look at it and give it a shot. Once you have gotten some experience you can attempt some of the other fine techniques on this site to see what suits you best. Here is the link: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=42271 Good Luck!

That haywire breathing alot of times is a hallucination itself. Just stay calm and try some controlled breathing. If you find that your breathing is crazy and uncontrolled then it is only a hallucination.

      Alex

Don't get frustrated with your WILD attempts. It sounds like you're on the right track. You may have just had bad timing. You may just need a little more practice to get your body used to the separation. Like KingYoshi said, just stay relaxed, take deep breaths, and don't get too excited or frustrated.
