Thread: Another Reality

Hey Everyone,
So I've known about lucid dreaming for quite some time now and have been practicing for awhile when I first got into it. I was practicing every night and in the morning just trying certain techniques. I was also writing in my journal every morning. Suddenly I got busy and I am now in college so I haven't been practicing since late june. During practice I got very close to having and OBE a couple of times and I had one kinda lucid dream/false awakening. During a family vacation about a month later I had a dream where I was at party at a house on a foggy dark night on a cliff. As I went outside I had a sudden series of thoughts that lead to my realization that I was dreaming. I then ran and and flew into the air like superman. I then remembered that most peoples first time being lucid didn't last long, so I had to try and not get excited(so i didn't wake up). I then felt a sudden jolt back into my boy an I awoke. The time before (when I was practicing) that I was dreaming and I was in my room I thought I'll try to Astral Project so I started feeling my body come out of my body and float up then my whole room spun around and I awoke I opened my eyes and then I thought fuck it didn't work, I then really woke up and realized it was all a dream. But at the same time I was aware I was dreaming. Anyways I want to get back into it and eventually become a master. Here is my two problems, I have my Medical Marijuana License and I use cannabis daily. I know this effects my dreams and was wondering anyones opinion on what I can do about this. Second problem is now that I am in college ITs hard to find the time to practice lucid dreaming and to find a quite place for it as well. My main question is, is there anyone who is an expert at Lding and is will to mentor me. I am also a hypnotist and I am trying to conduct some of my own experiments using hypnosis to induce lucid dreams and astral projection. ( trying to make a light switch for lucidity). So if anyone would like to take the time to get to know me and help me out that would be really cool. As welling as being a hypnosis I am a magician, so I know how to learn on my own but I think for lucid dreaming a mentor would be very beneficial.
