Hi guys, I've been excited lately to start "purposely" having lucid dreams. I've had 6 or 7 that I can remember a long time ago, and one recently that got me interested.

I've started by reading different WILD guides, and about 15 minutes ago I gave up on my third try (once at 4:30, once at 8:30, one yesterday morning). I'm following the guides as closely as I can.. I feel the sleep paralysis mostly in my hands and arms, but whenever I give up after about 45 minutes and started to move I realize it's in my legs too. So I know I'm at least getting that far.

Now, I try to keep my thoughts as limited as possible. Anything I hear outside or start to think of I just let it pass and focus on breathing. I see HI, but I ignore it like I'm "supposed to". Sometimes I feel a slight vibration motion (but it's really slow, like 2-3HZ) but that's it. I just lay there for a while and nothing happens.

One of the problems I'm having is suddenly I'll get the urge to swallow. At first I would allow myself to swallow because it didn't affect my SP. Then I started thinking maybe I should ignore it, but the urge becomes unbelievably strong. There's nothing to swallow (my mouth is pretty dry because I'm breathing with my mouth open), but eventually I just can't help it anymore. It's really distracting, and I'm wondering if this is natural or if I should try changing positions?

Thanks for the help
