      DCs telling truth?

I was wondering if you see a DC that you know (like your father), and ask him something, will he tell the truth?

Probably not, since it's a dream. DC's will do and say anything to distract you and lose lucidity.

I just readed a story about a guy that was lucid and met a DC who had the same powers as him and he couldnt delete him. he forced him to do things else the DC would end the dream.

Well it's all in your head, but once a dream character starts to do and say things, you usually believe them and are under their control. You forget it is your dream and that you are really in control of them.

back when I was 6-7 , long before I had a lucid dream, I asked an obnoxious DC in my house if it was all a dream- he said "no what are you crazy" and continued ranting.

I don't trust DC's further than I can throw em

Hahaha I found this to be pretty funny. The thing is, I can definitely see someone in one of my dreams telling me this, too.

      "Is this a dream?"

It depends. The random dream characters usually don't tell the truth depending on what you ask them, but you can trick them. It is basically your subconscious talking to you and they either don't know the answer but you expect them to answer so they'll give whatever answer. But you can get nuggets of truth from them if you see them as aspects of your subconscious self.

However, if you summon high beings like spiritual teachers or light beings, these are probably aspects of your superconscious or your 'higher mind' and you can get some very relevant information. But don't lose your lucidity.
