Haha, yes, it is. The problem with trying to WILD before you go to sleep is that you're not anywhere close to a REM period, which is where most of the dreaming tends to take place. To WILD effectively, you should get about 4-6 hours of sleep before you make an attempt. See the WBTB method. It should be noted, however, than some results can be achieved through a WILD attempt before bed. SP can be attained, and some HH may be experienced. Any dreams you have, however (if you have them at all), will most likely be of poor quality. In general, a WILD without the WBTB can be good for meditative purposes, but not so much for lucid dreaming purposes.
