      To little sleep and it's effects?

      Hey again people! I'm wondering if sleep affects you're ability to recall dreams in the morning!? Recently, I had two days with less than five hours of sleep (no I wasn't partying! ), and I was able to recall a "small to none" amount of dreams. Do any of you know anything about this?

      What if you simply didn't dream very much, thus not remembering anything since there's nothing to remember?

      Yeah, I though about it, but I dreamt alot the other days in the week, and at these particullar days, I didn't dream anything..! I know, it could be a coinsidence. (spelled right?) So nobody have had similar thoughts?

      Exhaustion can absolutely hamper dream recall. I believe that you did dream, but just couldn't remember it. In general (not always of course), the more tired you are, the less effort your mind/brain will put into naturally remembering things. Exhaustion can hamper normal memory as well, not just dream recall.

      Speaking from experience, I'm in a dream recall dry spell, and I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep. I get bits and pieces, but not nearly as much as I should be remembering. Perhaps this weekend will break my dry spell.

      Yeah! I really have felt the same! But after these two days of to little sleep, I slept a whole lot more than I really use to, 14 hours I think, and I acctually had an LD! xD
