      My first semi-lucid dream.

Wow, after about a week of reading through all the guides on this, I think I had my first lucid dream.

Well sort of... Everything was chaotic and I couldn't really control anything, I just knew I was dreaming and that's it.

I tried a mix between MILD and WILD technique in a morning nap like 30 minutes after my regular night of sleep. So I guess you can say I did a WBTB tech.

I kept fluxuating between real life and the dream for some reason and that's what made it so chaotic and hard to comprehend. I tried the hands rubbing technique to add definition to my dream but it really didn't help much.

Congrats on your first lucid! As long as you knew you were dreaming, you were lucid. You don't have to have control for it be counted as a LD. For stabilization, you can also try looking at your feet for a few moments until the dream seems clear and then slowly raising your head up, feeling some textures and objects around you, shouting "Increase Clarity Now!", looking at a single object in the dream scene (keeping your eyes still and fixed) and imagining the dream scene slowly clearing up, dream spinning, etc. I would try a few different techniques and see which ones work best for you! Good luck and again, Congrats!

Heheh! Yoshi's right, the shout "Clarity NOW!" thing work Great. it's always nice to see more people finally becoming lucid. personally i think that thiers a differance between knowing your dreaming, and being in the dream doing stuff, but hey, the definition for a lucid dream very well could be "a dream where the user recognises the dream occours"
