      Just a quick question

If I eat dark chocolate and drink some apple juice before I go to bed, then try the DILD WBTB, will that increase my chances of having a LD (opposed to doing the excat same thing, but without the WBTB method? I know that dark chocolate and apple juice personally help increase the vividness of my dreams. Also, if I do do the WBTB method, could I just stay up for half an hour instead of an hour, and what should I set my alarm to?

      Thanks.

It may increase your chance, it may not. It's different in every person. Try it and see the results.

For WBTB, I would still suggest 3-5 hours of sleep before trying it. As far as I know, apple juice and choclate don't increase your REM sleep earlier in the night, so WBTB would be just as effective if you ate them or not.

Hi LD21 Personally i just have a "normal" diet, I do not take and vitamin supplements don't take any drugs, don't go out of my way to change anything different, don't use gadgets, and I have had some of the most realistic amazing dreams i have ever experienced.

But if the chocolate works for you the go for it ....or try eating no chocolate and see what happens!

have a read in the tutorials all these different techniques differ for everyone

give it a try there I don't think are no hard and fast rules but it is a case of trial and error if it works use it if it don't work discard it

for the WBTB try 30min see what occurs he try 1 hour and see what happens

Good Luck let me know how it goes

I WBTB for about 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The amount of time doesn't make a difference to me, it's more about the state of mind and how much you assert to yourself that you will have the lucid dream.
