I had 1 DILD i figured out that im dreaming and after few seconds i awake . The second one wich i recall much better was something the same i was flying or runing somewhere and i looked at my hand i had 6 fingers it didnt looked that there realy is 6 fingers it was hust like thing multipling but still i realized that im dreaming in moments and this time i did something, landed on the ground and saw a men or something run to it . SUdenly i became aware of my eyes and in seconds i was awake . It was strange to saw my hand with 6 fingers but i wanted to dream for a longer period well there was an actual improvement during the last DILD. Any advice what to do to when you realize that your dreaming to stay asleep |

The above post has some good advice. In addition, try and ground as many senses as you can in the dream environment. Even if the dream is "over," pretend it's still going, as this active imagining can re-trigger REM sleep. |
