Hey ladies and gents, just introducing myself. I'm 19 years old from Manitoba, Canada and have always been interested in dreaming. In the past I used to write my dreams down quite frequently, but eventually became lazy since I wasn't doing anything with the information. I stumbed upon DV yesterday (at work )through a natural healing site, and have read through everything except the different techniques to induce lucid dreaming. I could barely fall asleep yesterday after reading the information on this site because I was so excited, I want a lucid dream RIGHT NOW! Haha, honestly, I want to take it one step at a time; master one thing before moving onto the next. So far I'm quite good at remembering my dreams, and just today I was able to remember 4, which I eagerly wrote down in the journal beside my bed. (I also downloaded that Dream Journal app, and will be posting my dreams once I type them up.) Some dream signs of mine are.. - being late - not being able to run while being chased - dirty bathrooms - still living at home and fighting with my brothers/mom - not being able to scream To make this introduction less bland, and more interactive I want YOU to tell me your: A. Craziest/most awesome lucid dream. B. Goals for a lucid dream. C. Favorite bands and food.. two things I love besides dreaming For those that have yet to have lucid dreams: A. How long have you been trying for and what is your goal? B. Your favorite bands and food.

Hi Xivienne! The first thing I want you to do is not to get discouraged. Your first lucid dream might even be a let down. As for the questions: 1. Failed at flying, had an FA. One heck of a dream huh? 2. See Sig 3. See username + Metallica Megadeth Arch Enemy and Buckethead. Oh and I love BBQ and Chinese food.

I'm one of, like, three junior members here...we don't have many. It's great that you just moved here, and you already know so much about lucid dreaming! These forums will be a great help to you. Has it taken you a while to get this far, or does it come naturally? A. I've not had many LD's, but there as this one where I was flying around a chaotic mirror of my town. It was WEIRD, but really great! B. Hop on my scooter and fly. Control the weather with my hands. C. No favorite bands, but I love movie composers and classical composers. I.E, Hans Zimmer/Wolfgang A. @ Kraft Thanks! FA huh? I've had a couple of those.. I can't say if I even realized it during the dream just because they were so long ago.. hmm. I'm also a fan of metal, not the same genre as you're into though. @ Noogah Oh man, you are as old as my brothers, yet you are so much more mature. Why can't they be like that? To answer your question, remembering dreams does came naturally to me, although I still like to write them down. By the way, Hans Zimmer is great, I was actually listening to the Pirates soundtrack the other day at work.. you must like John Williams too then! @ Portal How young/old is 'Junior'? I also don't listen to that much music compared to others, it was how I was brought up. Did a lot more reading and had adventures outside.

How young/old is 'Junior'? Anybody under the age of fifteen. Oh, and yeah. I love John Williams, Harry-Gregson Williams, Danny Elfman, and James Newton Howard. At the moment, only those come to mind. to Dreamviews and these are my LD things 1. (Before My Dream Journal) I stole my dad's car and was driving to my school and while I was driving I realised I'm dreaming due to the fact i'm 15 and driving and that I stole a car. I felt like just driving around and because there was no rules in my dream I went really fast crashing through everything and over a cliff. After the car was completely wrecked a DC (Dream Character if you didn't know) of someone I know in real life helped me up and..well.... Then 5 minutes later the dream ended 2. A lot of things like: Teleporting, Flying, Jumping over buildings, Make a Tornado and Storm 3. I don't know who my FAVOURITE is And yes, Mario92 is famous for hug-related things

Hey Z, that driving dream sounds pretty intense, quite typical for a man to dream that. And about the bands..favorites!! And you forgot to mention what food you like.. I guess I should answer those questions myself too. My favorite bands at the moment are Sonata Arctica, Kamelot, Edguy, and I like a lot of soundtracks and scores to movies like Moulin Rouge and Star Wars. My favorite food has to be Italian and Chinese. I also REALLY like perogies, which I believe are Ukrainian.

It's good that you braced up and decided to immense your own dream experience on this forum. If it's any comfort, it took me ages for my mind to conjure up a lucid dream, and both its length and content was disappoiting. Although I'm sure that with enough time spent on reading and focusing your mind on the matter, lucid dreams will be plentiful. With that being said, I want to mention that I'm fond of listening to progressive music (e.g. Gentle Giant, Jethro Tull, Yes, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Genesis etc.) When food is concerned, I enjoy vegetarian cusine and I try as best as I can to follow that lifestyle, even though I every so often indulge myself in take-away, chiefly Thai cusine. I wish you good luck in your future dream endeavours!

to DV Xivienne! I just joined last week, when I found out about lucid dreaming. I was exited when I learned what lucid dreaming was...cause like most people(i think), I have always thought how awesome it would be to be able to have control over your dreams. The first night I learned about LDing, I did a bunch of RCs(reality checks if you didn't know yet), and repeated mantras while going to bed..."I will become lucid in my dreams", and "I will realize I am dreaming while I am dreaming". My dream recall can ge really good if I want it to, or bad. Usually I remember a few dreams a week, but that night I also repeated that I would remember my dreams. I remember 5, 4 short nightmares(10-15 seconds), and one good long one. I became lucid at the end of the nightmares, but was really freaked out so I woke myself up. Unfortunately... I didn't become lucid during the good long dream. My wackiest/stupidest dream: Lucid: No View:First person(I was myself in the dream)...but switched to third-person later I was driving down a hill in my dad's truck(with my dad), and at the bottom of the hill the road Td. My mom was waiting in our van, and at the bottom of the hill I got out of the truck and into the van, and we drove down the road(right at the bottom of the hill). The road was curvy, and there woods on the side of the road. Up ahead a ways there was a medium-sized hill, with a fat old guy sitting in a lawn chair at the bottom of the hill. Next to him was a skinny long stick/stake drove into the ground, and stuck up probably 5 feet, and was sharp. When me and my mom got nearer to the hill, we stopped abruptly, whatever we were going to 0MPH(I can't recall whether we crashed or just stopped). I flew throught the windshield(I don't remember If it wasn't there or if I broke it), and I landed on the stick/stake thing next to the fat guy. It went through my stomache when I landed on it. Instead of waking up, the view changed. I saw some family burying me on the hill next to the stick and fat guy, and the fat guy was laughing as they buried me. I don't remember anymore...I might of woken up. Now how the heck did my brain think of that dream??? As for foods...I have alot of favorite foods. I espacially like pasta/noodles...alfrado sauce on the top with chicked makes it even better. Goals for lucid dreams...I don't know yet...Obviously I can think of a bunch of stuff I would do...But as I have not yet had a lucid dream I can remember outside a nightmare, I don't know exactly.

I'll have to find where I wrote it, but I'm pretty sure it involved me pulling meat flavored berries out of a computer screen. B) I'll just say the biggest ones on my list; Revisiting my very own amusement part that I had a dream about as a kid (called DreamLand ), and continuing a dream I had about my own version of the Kids Next Door. C) Backstreet Boys and Mandarin Chicken. !!

Hey Xivienne ! I've Been struggling to have a full in control Lucid dream for about 2 and a half years. I don't know if its the fact that I want one so bad or Something inside my head doesn't want to unlock this ability yet.I can remember 4 dreams a night, and I know my Subconsious tries to hint im dreaming but my Logic part of my brain is not so functionable when im dreaming. I've never had a real lucid dream Persay. When I have a lucid dream I'd really like to find my Spirit Guide, or else I would like to travel to the Plain of Tranquility and try and bring my brother into lucidity. But to even have a lucid dream I finding it hard and I hope you have one sooner than me. =) My Favorite musician is yes a couple rappers Gucci mane and Oj Juice man As for favorite food I'd say Pepperoni Pizza :bravo: Good questions to drag everyone together.

@ Hyper Thanks, I hope I'll be able to focus and calm down. 2 nights ago I had 2 dreams where I realized I was dreaming but became too excited and woke up. =( Oh and if you like Prog music, you would really like Sonata. @ Freaky That... is an extremely morbid dream. I've had some pretty messed up ones myself, but never involving me getting hurt or dying, that would be scary! Alfredo sauce on pasta is SO GOOD, now my mouth is watering... =P @ Demara Oooohh! =O What part of Manitoba are you from? I'm from Winnipeg, I'm surprised we don't have snow yet... so so surprised. How old are you? No favorite types of music/bands? C'mon, everyone has SOME favorites!! @ Snowy Backstreet boys?! LOL, that is some old school stuff right there! Weren't they doing a tour? Maybe that was Spice Girls.. @ Remember 2 years? You're a trooper! With patience and effort I'm sure it will come to you in no time, maybe you need to do more RC's? I'm far from experienced but perhaps you need to try some new methods! Good luck mister, btw pizza is sooooo good. I used to make homemade all the time when I didn't work.. now that I work I have no energy. I don't know how moms do it!
