My dreams feel so real ...

A week ago i had a dream where these three monsters were killing off people from a village but these monsters were really human and somehow i was supposed to them and i did but i woke up... and fell asleep again and when i fell a sleep i was hanging out with these people that were monsters but they werent evil like they were before and this lady appears throwing punches at these "monsters" and (this is where i have a hard time putting into words) i tried to defend the "monsters" by trying to comfort them by hugging them telling everything will be alright but all i was doing was making it easier for that lady to punch this monster, in the and i felt like this happened in real life, like i could feel there pain because in the end when i woke up i felt like it been real and that these people were real and that i just done something i would never forgive myself, its been a week and still i feel like i hurt someone real close.

usually i forget what i dreamt about the morning i dreamt about it but this dream no matter how hard i try to forget i cant
sorry if its hard to understand.

This is why dreaming, I feel is an experience because if you pay attention to detail, dreams can be very realistic. Your sensations tend to function like real life and you perceive it as it is. If you ever hear "pinch me, I must be dreaming!" well, no one on this forum (that I know of) actually pinch's themselves because we know that we would end up actually feeling (or perceiving) the pinch.

As for your emotional concerns, it should go away if you give it time. You just have to acknowledge that what you experienced was all just created in your own mind. You are actually partly responsible for playing the part of the other characters in your dreams.

All in all, just give it time and your lasting emotions should go away. If not, then maybe you can come back to us. Some of us (myself included) have used lucid dreaming to solve problems like this. And as for the actual feelings, if you have ever flown in a dream, it's pretty amazing.

      And welcome to the Community

Well, I dream of real people. Part of the reason your post is hard to understand is your lack of the "." key. Not trying to be mean, it just gives me eyestrain to read a run-on sentence that is a paragraph long.

Anyway, I think you should dream of those people again, and do what you feel you need to do.
