We all are so deeply interconnected; we have no option but to love all. Be kind and do good for any one and that will be reflected. The ripples of the kind heart are the highest blessings of the Universe.
welcome and good luck! i'm a newbie as well, started my dream journal and working on recall, although i really just want to become lucid as soon as possible. |

Welcome to Dreamviews! There are also many other new members, so don't worry about it! You don't necessarily have to get your dream recall up very good before you start anything else. What I would do, is to look at the different techniques, and find one that you want to start working on. Read up on it, get some information, so that when you feel satisfied with your dream recall, you can easily get your first lucid. |

Wow, thanks guys, really useful tips |
|
Excitement is a dream-killer! I'm serious, it is. Many people new to lucid dreaming often wake up right after they become lucid for the first few times because they gets excited. |
|
Ok, i woke up now... I think i woke up 7-8 times, able to tell what i was dreaming every time. I even lol'd because one of the dreams was about me telling my mates that i am starting to learn to get lucid in dreams. darn. i didnt know it was a dream. |

Hey aodimp, don't fret |

How did it go? It sounds like you are already making progress remembering your dreams. Noticing those frequent midnight awakenings is a huge step in mastering your dreams. |
|
and yet I fail, again. This night i really dedicated to LD, i even slept for 12 hours, remembered 4-5 dreams and i woke up several times during the night. And still my dreams are just like they were before I heard about LD. I can't tell myself with confidence "I will dream lucid" anymore before i fall asleep. And I don't see how my RC's will get into my dreams... |
|
keep going. It's all in your head, literally. Believe it and it will happen. |
|
hi aodimp! i'm in the same boat... i've been trying to LD for about four years now, on and off, and for about a week in my most recent attempt. i've gotten close over the years but now i feel like i'm getting closer than ever! |

That's a great start because it shows that you're THINKING about dreams while you're in one. And that's very close to KNOWING you're in one. |

I will! |

For those having trouble. Have you ever had a bad dream and tried to wake up? If you tried to wake up, there must have been some awareness that it was a dream. |

Well, yesterday I was partying pretty hard, got to sleep very late, drunk. |
