      Linking REM-sleeps

      Greeting dreamviewers!

Is there a way to link REM-sleeps?
I mean, if you have a Lucid dream in the first REM, can you then continue it in the next one? I doesnt wake up after each dream, sp i dont know if DEILD will work.

      Happy for answers

You can dream with the same theme for nights in a row, and I know for a fact you can link REM periods.

But if you want to remember what happened in the previous REM period, you have to wake up between them and write them down (otherwise, in deep sleep, your brain resets and you lose factual memory of the dream). Waking up between lucid dreams doesn't harm your chances of linking them (on the contrary, it'll make dream linking much more common!).

From my own experience, you can pick up a dream storyline and re-link days, weeks, and even months after your first lucid episode. So don't worry if you don't have two lucids in a row--you can still link them.
