Thread: strange way to turn lucid

In my dream I was having dinner and it was delicious and I went into my kitchen to get a drink and when I came back my mums hairdresser (who I detest) was eating my dinner and I was really angry and then I just shouted, "this is a crap dream" and that's when I realised. I just thought it was a strange way to realise I was dreaming as it was as if I already knew. It was my first LD. Anyone else do anything like this? Also I managed to flight a little bit but I tried to dive but ended up not being able to go back up. It was still rather fun.
