Exclamation I've stopped remembering my dreams.

Since I've joined this, I started gaining dream recall, and it actually worked. One night, I woke up in the middle of the night, remembered a dream, and went back to sleep. I woke up and forgot it.
Since then, I haven't remembered any dreams, and it's been like 5 days.

Are you stressed? Do you get enough hours of sleep? These are factors that can affect LDing and dream recall as well.

I've tried a few techniques to help me with my dream recall. I set off my alarm clock in 90 minutes interval (the time it takes for you to get to REM), and hopefully wake up when it goes off. Another way is, when going to sleep, I take at least 1 minute to remember the view of the back of my eyelids (it helped me a lot because I know I'm awake when I start seeing the back of my eyelids).

When you wake up, lay still. Moving the body tends to chase away your dream recall. Ask yourself, "What did I dream about?". If you can't remember anything, at least write down some details in your journal (examples of these are feelings: tired, happy, sad) and they might trigger more details about your dream. If you can't still remember, then don't force yourself too much. Throughout the day, pictures, signs or happenings may hopefully trigger about your dream.

      Hope it helps

I strongly suggest you write your dreams down after you wake up. I like to quickly recap them in mind then immediately write them down. If you are willing to put in a bit of extra effort and can sleep-in, I suggest setting an alarm clock throughout the night, waking up, writing down your dream, then returning to sleep. I would set the alarm clock in two hour increments throughout the night. Either way, you should definately keep a notebook beside your bed and write down dreams as soon as possible upon waking.

Thats pretty normal. I can wake up, go over a dream in my head, then forget it by morning. To combat this I write keywords of my dream. If I dream about shooting aliens on Jupiter then falling into a void, I'd write down:

      - Jupiter
      - Evil aliens
      - Fall in void

Thats usually enough to allow me to remember.

Say this aloud before going to sleep
I (First Name) (Last Name) will remember my dream.
I will have a Lucid Dream
Upon waking i will remember my dream

While i remember my dreams i do not get lucid XD

one of the things I find remarkable about reading through my dream journal entries is the common themes that seem to re-occur all the time. As I write the dreams down I can't help to notice the same elements, and that's the same recorded elements I use to transform how I get to know & perceive the dreamworld.
I started to remember many dreams after starting a dream journal, and after that I began to find myself lucid in my dreams soon after.

Many prefer to not keep one, and that's too bad despite its overwhelming importance when starting to explore the hidden dream lives we have every night-but usually just forget.
