      Hello Dreamviews

Hello. I found out about Lucid Dreaming about a week ago and the only progress I've made has been to remember my dreams better, which I'm guessing is a good start, so I decided to come hear for further details into this.

I mostly want to be able to create and explore any world I want but after a bunch of googling I found something rather interesting that could also be done with this. In an article (I can't remember what now) I read that painters can get new ideas for paintings by just opening a door in their dreamworld and a new painting would be there on the wall which they can get inspiration from. I was hoping I could do something similar.

As a hobby I use a 3D modelling program called Blender and I like to look for interesting things online to make in it. So instead of searching the internet for concept art I can use to make stuff with I thought, 'Hey, wouldn't it be cool if I could get these ideas from my dreams?' My waking mind is no good at coming up with awesome things to make so I was hoping this would be possible with lucid dreaming.

      Hi! Welcome to DV!!!

That idea sounds cool; getting inspiration for art from dreams!

Dreams are such great inspiration for design and painting. It almost feels like cheating, sometimes. Keep a dream journal, and see how many amazing ideas and images you get for absolutely free - almost no work required. You should definitely try painting or 3D modeling while you are in a lucid dream. You'll certainly get some fun results.

I never thought of actually makinging a model while in the dream, that's a cool idea, thanks. I just downloaded the Subliminal Lucid Dreaming mp3 and it is very relaxing. Hopefully it will help me have a lucid dream so I can try this out.
