This is a very common way of transporting yourself to different settings, however its harder than its sounds. Walking through a door into a new world only worked once for me. On most occasions, the door will lead to blackness or won't open. |

I read in a thread here that people that are beginners to lucid dreaming will not have good control of them right away. I've been thinking about what I want to do when I finaly have a lucid dream and how to get good control. I think I might have a way to sort of get it and I'm wondering if this would work: |

I think that that thing about "you will not control your dream very well if you are beginner" is a myth. |

I'm a bit surprised that the door technique doesn't work for you, Loaf! |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I really don't mind if I can't comepletely control my dream the first time. On of the things that I want to do is to just follow the dream as it is once I become lucid, and maybe use these to do small things. But I'll know nothing until I have one, so I'll wait and see what comes of it. Thanks for the advice, I do hope it works. |
