Thread: can someone please answer some questions for me

hi my name is Caitlyn,
basically everynight since i can remember, just being on the verge of falling asleep i recite in my head strings of words but only semi consciously. at the time i dont realise they dont make sense but sometimes i wake up and remember them and they are completely random. when i am in this semi conscious state of sleep i feel as if i am reading them aloud (sometimes i think i am having a conversation). i mentioned this to my mum once and she said she has the same thing happen to her too.

i am wondering why this happens to me, and if they are any form of lucid dreams.

Also, sometimes when i am dreaming i feel as if i can control what i do but it takes a lot of effort and sometimes doesnt work. Eg: mentally trying to run away but legs wont move.
