      hello, I'm new here...

      Hi everyone,
I stumbled on these forums as I was looking for info on polyphasic sleeping, which I want to try.
Since I have had some intense dreams and mind-out-of-body experiences, thought I could come here to help understand them. Would like to develop this aspect of myself in order to gain insights into myself and my life-purpose, as well as to understand the world in general. Not too much to ask, now is it

      So, hello everyone
I'm very opinionated, by the way, so plz nobody take it personally. That's just me. Everyone should see the world the way I do.

      thanks, nice to be here.

I have a question, if its been answered previously, maybe you can redirect me to the thread.

I have LDed before, but didn't know it was called that. Thought it was just a normal thing. "oh, i'm dreaming, i think i'll fly, i like flying" or "oh, i'm dreaming, hmmm not too much going on here, what if i go talk to that person, or go around that corner instead...." or, "i'm dreaming, so I can make myself invisible to these people, and spy on them" (or more often, escape from them. Seems like I like to make myself invisible a lot. Never tried to control it beyond that.

The strange thing is, I'm rarely myself in my dreams...I'm always this other guy (and I'm really a girl!). He's like my alter ego if I were a male. I think of him as a sort of spirit guide or something....I even know his name. But why do I see him, and not myself in dreams?

      any ideas?
      thanks!

That's weird that you dream as someone else. Some might tell you that it's you in a past life. Or your spirit guide. Spirit guides are cool, I have one.

I don't really know how to completely answer your question, but thought I'd welcome you to the forum!

Well let me start off by saying Welcome!

Do you think that maybe your dreaming of someone from real life that maybe you just seem to have a lot in common with? Maybe some of your interests are normally that of what a guy would be interested in?

Sounds interesting. Do you know what he (or you for that matter) looks like?
