You just move like you normaly would. Food takes a little weird, depending on how lucid you are and how vivid the dream is.

It depends, sometimes you wont see colors or you wont feel anything. So you will get different stuff most of the time.

Dreams may hold some vivid subconscious memories. It's not always just sight and sound, you can taste too. Hell, I've felt pain recently (I stepped on some sharp grass while hiking through some jungle). It usually just depends on how vivid your dream is.

I remember once when I was little I had a really vivid dream where I ate something. I was at this long table havng a feast with sone Vikings or something. Anyway, I took a bite out of this really good looking chicken and it tasted really really good. It's making me hungry just thinking about it

It is so VERY realistic. You won't be disappointed with putting in the effort for lucid dreaming. Trust me on that one. If you personally think lucid dreaming was a waste of time, I will allow you to threaten my life. I am doing so because I am SO sure, that you will not think it is a waste of time. Nonetheless Welcome to the Forum!

The others have given you a nice preview on what lucid dreaming is, and I see you are interested. If you want to get a little jump-start, take a look at this section: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25.

If you want to Really get into it, start recording your dreams and maybe even keep a DJ. If you don't recall any dreams, you will start remembering at least 1-3 over the course of a week. Yes I said it, a WEEK!

Food is extremely realistic in dreams, in both the visual and taste sense of the word. Sometimes the food you're eating may taste a bit "off" or the texture might not be right, but that's just the nature of dreams.

Moving in dreams is just like in the real world. Just don't think about it and... move. Lucid dreams are usually from a first-person perspective, so you're in control of your own body.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
