      LD Fear

New to the forums, didn't even know there would be forums for this kind of stuff
My friend who introduced me to LD told me that I should never ask myself (In a LD) what my biggest fear is.

I have had one LD in my life and intend on having several more, and I can't help but wonder, why, will this fear be something that may twist my life or something scary like gigantic spiders.

Allowing yourself to be afraid in a dream might, at worst, result in a nightmare. But since you're lucid, you should be very aware of the fact that it is actually a dream - nothing what so ever can hurt you So why be afraid or fear anything while dreaming? Enjoy instead!

I understand but I know curiosity is going to get the best of me, and if my own sub consciousness unlocks my biggest fears then the joy of Lucid Dreaming will forever scar me.

Take my advice, and DO ask your subconscious for your biggest fear. Not only you will get an inside to what you fear the most, but you may also get rid of it for good. The best way to get rid of your fear is to constantly face it, instead of trying to run away. Lucid dreaming is meant to be enjoyed, so if your subconscious shows you a killer zombie for your greatest fear, have fun chainsawing him in half!
I will try asking MY subconscious in my next LD. Thanks for the goal.
Oh yeah, welcome to Lucid Dreaming!!
'The petals dance through the wind,
The crimson blood shimmers on the snow,
The shattered heart weeps of hidden sorrow.
And over a pure white sky,
      rises a black moon.'

I would probably agree with that, I read something about a guy who did a lucid dream, and saw his biggest fear,, it was a tiger or something, so he confonted it he pounced on it and were fighting, then they started playing and eventually the tiger turned into a sexy lady and.... well it would probably be better to confront it
