      sleep paralysis question

hi Im new to this site,

I just had one question about sleep paralysis.
Alot of times, when people wake up in sleep paralysis they get scared and they see those scary hallucinations and voices. What if they thought of something happy, would the hallucinations and voices turn happy or just not scary? I have woken up with sleep and I know whhat i feels like. Thanks

With practice, the hallucinations can be controlled to a certain extent to make things seem less "scary".

thanks, I know that you can make them less scary, but what I am trying to say is, can you change them completely?

I am curious too. If you relax and laugh in your imagination while you have a SP, will the hallucination, if I do have one, be laughing with me or something?

I was just thinking, if your scared, then your hallucination might be scary, but what would happen if your happy, would the hallucination be happy and good?

I think about the mario theme or something and I eventually start to hear it so yeah I guess if you think of things that make you laugh or happy, it would work.

Wait, if you sense there's something in your room, can you keep your eyes closed to avoid being too scared?

I think you can but if you know that it is sleep paralysis and you know its just in your head then I think you can probably change it to something not scary.
