      Question Finding the right technique?

Ive been trying to find the right technique to have a lucid dream for the last week I've been thinking alot about it, but I just don't know which to do. I was wondering if there was a type that has a higher success rate than others. Also I wanted to try WILD but I'm kind of afraid of the hallucinations. Thanks.

Don't worry the hallucinations aren't scary at all lol don't worry the wild in my opinion is the best technique to me i can get it to work really easy in the day time and the only part of it that sort of scares beginners is the sudden rush of a wave up your body, vibrations, sounds, and sleep paralysis but they aren't scary at all if you need help with WILD just PM me and i will help k

What may not work well for one person may work just fine for you. I'd recommend trying something that looks like it might work and then try it for at least a week. If it doesn't seem to be doing you any good, try something else. Just keep in mind that whatever you're doing, as long as you're diligently practicing and you intend to become lucid at some point, you'll see improvement.

Most people start out with MILD or DILD, though I'd recommend that everyone get into a habit of writing their dreams down and doing reality checks during the day. If you haven't already, check out the Reality Check Tutorial. Regardless what you choose, enjoy your dreams and I wish you the best of luck as you strive to become lucid!

      And welcome to DV.
