      Dild, wild ???

      Hey,
I am training WILD for like a year or slt, with no success so far.

But I have a question, most of what I consider a DILD, happens, after I tried to WILD, thus I wonder I might have had success and just don't recognize it, as I don't got through the usual phases described. I just loose conscioussnes at some point in the wild process, far before any signs of transition to sleep occur, and then I come to lucidity in the dream, no transition, no hypnagogic stuff nothing, just trying to keep consciousness and fail, and after some period, I attain lucidity from inside the dream, no reality checks necessary.

So am I WILDING or DILDING or something else?

I had hypnagogic expieriences while trying to wild but those lead to me waking up or sleeping in the end not gaining lucidity.

      Cheers
      Daytona

Sounds like you're failing your WILDs by falling asleep in the middle of them. However, it sounds like you're pretty good with DILDs. If it's like you say it is, eventually falling asleep then realizing you're dreaming while in the dream (RC or not) it's a DILD.

So, to answer your question very simply, DILD.

Thanks, I suspected so, but wasn't sure at all. Since I had nothing to compare it to.

Hey Daytona it seems like you are trying to run before you can even walk. You mentioned in your post that you have been trying WILD for a year now but with no success.Imagine if you practised DILD or MILD in this time, you could have had a lot more lucid dreams. But past is past and from now on try to use those technique that are more suitable to you. There are good DILD and MILD tutorial on this forums tutorial section. You can also use "Image streaming" for increasing chances of your having lucid dreams. It can also increase your IQ,memory and creativity.Go to w.w.w.winwenger.com/imstream.htm for this.I pray and hope,in the next 1year you will have a lot of lucid dreams.

Actually I tried flying rather than running, I did this on purpose, as I only practiced WILDing before going to bed at night, like it is said, this is the worst time for success, but I think this actually helped me to achieve DILD's later, when trying to Wild at afternoon naps. But I will try other things as they come my way. Thx
