Hey everyone im new here and been quite interested in lucid dreaming for some time now, and i have been resently been using "Hemi-Sync - Lucid Dreaming Series" with some sucess. I started with the relaxation techniques then it plays some noises ment to trigger REM sleep and increase llucid dreaming, after a while i took my headphones off in a time before it would wake me up after 90min and being relaxed I started to fall into a dream state and shortly after all i could think about was light switches, so i went and played with them and no light would turn off. I went from their knowing i was in a dream and continued with it. I plan to keep on trying these audio files as well as taking others Techniques. |

Welcome to Dreamviews! I believe Robot Butler is correct in classifying your LD as a DILD. A WILD is when you pass directly from the waking state to the dream state without ever losing consciousness/awareness. A WBTB is a form of WILD, that has a much higher success rate than the traditional WILD. With a WBTB you are hitting your REM cycles later into the sleep period, so they generally last longer and are easier to hit (directly enter into REM). I also like to WILD during naps, a good target time for a nap WILD is 1-6 hours after waking in the morning. For WBTBs, I would suggest 4-7 hours after falling asleep. The most popular time seems to be 6 hours after sleep. Good Luck in your future efforts! |
