Time. Everyone needs time to get in the mod. Let yourself get adapted with the idea, write your dreams in your DreamJournal. Try the DILD technique, IMO is the best for beginners. |

I think a week is not long enough to conclude that you're doing anything wrong. Patience is a virtue. I'm on week six and still no lucids, but have made progress in terms of my knowledge of how the techniques are supposed to work and why and in terms of dreams about dream related topics (which seem to be a fairly common first step.) |

How long have you been trying? For starters it's a good idea to work strictly on recall, which means whipping out the old pen and paper and keeping it by your bedside to write down key events that occur in every dream. You want to remember the dream in some length after waking up from each one, and recording them helps you do that. Get into that habit and you'll likely find inducing lucidity will be easier for you. Half of the work involves keeping your mind on the topic of dreams, which is why just saying out loud (before falling asleep) that you'll have a lucid dream is an effective aid. |

Just have patience! |

I diligently keep a dream journal by my bedside. Every time I wake up, I write down, in detail, what all happened in my dreams, and sometimes I have more than one per night, sometimes 2 or 3 or more. But I write them all down. |

There is no magic formule, you need time to pratice. You are doing what you can: focusing in recall and writing your dreams. |

Sigh. I wish there was just an easy, fullproof way to LD |

So my question is: What am I doing wrong? |
