I can answer about the hallucinations. Most people don't have hallucinations that appear to be in the world, but if they do they generally occur in sleep paralysis. This means that you cannot move any part of your body, with your eyes being the exception. The hallucinations are usually only patterns of light or images that you see behind closed eyelids. But some people have seen shadowy figures or other (usually terrifying0 things in the real worlds. The former are really rare, most people do not have these waking world hallucinations. If they do they have the option to close their eyes, then they will usually onle get the patterns of light and sound hallucinations. Usually people can choose if they want visual (eyes open) or sound (eyes closed) hallucinations, other times they can get both with eyes open.
