      What was that book called with the mouse that had this car and this motorcycle(that were really the toys of this human friend) that was activated when he went "Vroom"? I remember the mouse's name was Ralph...

      There were two books: "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" and "Ralph S. Mouse" by Beverly Cleary.

      Did anyone watch the movies they made out of them? When I was younger those were pretty nifty, but if I watched them now I"d probably fall asleep. Oh well. She wrote other good books.... that I don't believe I read beyond those two.
