Notice how only guys liked your comment. It seems that no females agree that everything's all hunky dory and sunshine sparkles just yet. But yes, I was a lot angrier than I should have been in that comment, yet as I recall, you've had a brief history of being rude and condescending to me (or maybe that's just your attitude towards everyone).

Keep in mind that Xei is a British intellectual. Being rude and condescending is what they do.

You also thought that the nice people trying to help you with writing an essay were being rude and condescending. Sure I'll be vitriolic when I see something I think is silly, but as Marv says that probably just comes with the territory. I don't actually recall being rude to you, in fact you're in my mind as being a pretty cool person, but like I say you have a very strong tendency to think that everybody hates you even when they're clearly just trying to be nice.

With respect to the post, it just grates with me whenever I hear the phrase 'objectifying women'. No shit men treat women as sex objects; they are biologically programmed to appreciate physical attractiveness. Women are no different; how many attractive women do you see fawning over an unattractive guy with low social status? Objectification is an intrinsic and inalienable aspect of human nature, and people who talk otherwise are living in an idealistic (or more likely resentful) dream world. Sure you get the occasional wanker who has no other types of emotion to speak of, but you get just as many women of the same nature. The idea is to identify and avoid these people, not make a ridiculous stereotype of an entire gender out of them.

Fair enough. I speak in generalizations when I don't really mean EVERYONE in that group, much like most people do.
