Have you tried Doubs Absinthe? Best one I reckon. All those really, really green ones seem to be quite dodgy afaik.
$70 a bottle, but worth it as long as you're not over-indulging.

Red wine fucks me over hardcore. Whiskey I find I can tolerate easily as well. Even drinking wine glass portions of it.

Don't think so but nothing's wrong with stouts, you should try another brand...

Lots of strong non-dark beers too though.

I like tequila especially Milagro and 1800. But I do love me some stout craft beers. Try Sixth Glass its not dark at all but it is about 10%. Delicious.

The bitterness you're tasting is probably the hops. Darker beers are generally much more bitter, but have very strong flavours that cover it up (coffee and chocolate are common). Guinness is by far the most popular stout and is available everywhere, all the other ones I've had were local.




This is an awesome brown ale that is easy to find and packs a punch at 6.5%.

I actually just recently began to tolerate the taste of beer, but it's too much of a hassle to get decent beer.

I prefer whiskey/vodka/rum. Jack Daniels, Absolut/Grey Goose, Bacardi are my preferences but anything goes. Tequila only if its Patron. It really depends on what's going on though, I only ever drink to get drunk as fast as possible.

If I'm actually trying to enjoy what I'm drinking and not partying, I like champagne or some other kind of wine.

Bailey's is probably my overall favorite alcoholic drink. I drink it with milk and it tastes great. Same goes for Bacardi melon with sprite.

Being wine drunk is a really nice kind of drunk, but it takes too long and it doesn't make sense to me.

Eww, neither can I stand the smell of beer, nor it's taste.
I hardly drink any alcohol because I do drive around with my car nearly all the time - and drinking + driving is an absolutely no-no for me.

But if I do enjoy alcohol, it's usually red wine (only good ones, though) or a some Bacardi Breezers.
