I've seen this before a few times and have thought it's pretty much the best example of chimp intelligence. I don't know if this video showed the comparison between the chimps and humans (chimps did it faster) but keep in mind that the chimp had been doing it for a long time. If the humans had been too they might have done it as quickly. |

Yeah, have you seen the young kids doing the cup sorting thing? Just lots of practice, and chimps are pretty smart. |

Yeah it's hardly a fair test, animals are pretty good at pattern recognition and can be trained to become better at recognising certain things. I read that they did a study on students and they picked the skill up pretty quickly too. |
