Me and the other staff have been carefully looking over the applications, and have decided what be believe to be the best pairings that have ever been devised for the Buddy Program. Well, now is entirely up to you and your buddy! A good first step is getting to know them, find out what you have in common, etc. Looking for somewhere to start? Here's a couple icebreaker questions to help spark some discussion, from the insightful to the just plain crazy. If you won a million dollars (euros, etc.), what would you buy with it and why? If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose and why? What are some of your current dream signs? What was the best job you ever had? What was your worst? What is your earliest memory? What was the earliest dream you remember? What is your biggest fear/phobia? What is your current desktop background and why? If you were to create a slogan for your life, what would it be? What's your favorite part of an Oreo, the cookie or the cream? What's the worst thing you've ever smelled? If you could drive/ride/or fly anything to work/school, what would it be? Why? If you could produce a reality TV show, what would it be about? What is the best/worst pick-up line you've ever heard? What is the craziest thing you've ever done? What's the most embarassing thing you've ever done? And (for a really interesting discussion), if you could have any condiment dispense from your belly button, what would it be? So those are to help to get to know your buddy a little bit better, but of course this whole program is about dreams, right? So, here's a couple additional dream challenges that you can try in your groups. Feel free to post your successes and failures in this thread if you like, and (of course) share them with your buddies! They are ranked by difficulty, so try whichever ones you think you can accomplish: Beginner Report your dreams each to your buddy, even if you only remember small fragments (just the action of doing this can help improve your recall). Have your buddy appear in a dream of yours. Intermediate Report at least one dream per night to your buddy. Summon your buddy in a lucid. Visit your buddy's house, then report what it looks like (see how close you can get to reality). Develop a code phrase between you and your buddy IWL, repeat it to them in a dream, and report their reaction. Expert Report at least two dreams per night to your buddy. Have a practice fight with your buddy in a lucid. Cook a meal for your buddy, and report their response when they eat it. Solve a crime with your buddy as ace detectives/cops. Finally, we ask that you put something in your signature about the Buddy Program. Call it genius marketing, or shameless self-promotion, but we hope to expand the program to have even more members in future months, and this is a good way of making that happen. He kept Lucid dreaming about visiting a big movie theater and watching movies. Then he realised he was getting so engrossed in the movie and forgeting he was actually outside the movie, just watching it. His revelation is that life is like that. The real us is not really here but in a better place (watching a movie) but we're so engrossed in watching the movie we wont know we are really in a movie theater till the lights go on at halve time or the movie ends. I didn’t remember any dreams Is there a nice beach or park or important landmark where you live that I can Google? I would like to go to sleep looking at it to see if a dream about it.

I dreamt last night that it was christmas and i was wearing a snake costume and so was my brother and we hugged and i did an ab exercise and my mom said youre strong and then I saw two christmas treees with a small amount of gifts under them and then i woke up. there was more but i forget. what were your dreams?

Cali Both your dreams are significant to me. First Ok. So some guy told me to give him 100 and he would give me back 1000 and i did it, now i dont know how im gonna get the money back. I looked at the beach, it looks nice. I wish I was in NZ In waking-life I get off the bus at stop 24 and, right there, there, there is a place called the Henley Beach Hotel I play one game of Keno (cost one dollar). Then I walk to the Jetty and Henley Beach Square. Then I walk back to the pub and play 10 games of Spot 4 Keno. If one of my 10 games has all 4 numbers drawn I win $120 (the promise of over 10 fold return like in your dream, Cali) but that never happened, yet. If 3 of my 4 numbers get drawn I win $8. That often happens in ten conservative gams so I often only loose $2 dollars. Keno here in South Australia, is almost 24/7 and there is a draw every 3 minutes. I play my 10 consecutive games to reward my self for doing my sacred beach walk. Cal That was amazing that Our-Dreaming-Mind told you about my sinful gambling habit. I never told any one about giving $10 for the chance of winning $120 because I'm toooo embarrassed to tell folk. No one knows that secret but "Our-Dreaming-Mind" . But You HIT (!!!) AT THE FRONT OF Henley Beach Hotel is a restaurant with floor-to-cieling windows overlooking the beautiful ocean. There is even on outdoor eating area the other side of the windows. The impetus was a desire to live in Sacred Space. I was doing my Master’s degree at the time and was living in the East Village which was a massive urban environment. I had this strong desire to participate in sacred space. And I thought to myself that I need to go to where there were trees and marvellous rock formations and I can see the stars. I really fought against it for a while and then finally it occurred to me that the trick to living in sacred space is to sacralise the space in which you live, to actually move forward from yourself and make your own space, sacred. And so I began this Practice, which I conceived, really, in a flash. It really just came to me (clicks her fingers). That said, it really does have 4 primary sources. (1:00) The 1st is “Art of Memory” And “Art of Memory” is an ancient Greek method for remembering things. It’s a mnemonic. It was invented by Simarties (1:17) in 200BC I think, used by orators, by the Greek’s and Roman’s, during the Roman Empire, to memorize things. You might want to memorise a speech. So right now I’m talking to you, while I’m talking to you I might want to talk to you about the 4 sources of my practice so I want to talk to you about: 1) – Art of Memory 2) - Australian Aboriginal “Dream Time” practices 3) - Psycho Geography 4) - Sufi Beliefs So In my head I would form what is called a “Memory Palace” (2:00) A “Memory Palace” is, it uses imagination and visualization. Imagination and visualization are key both to all the sources I’m going to talk about today and to my own practice. What you do to use “Art of Memory” is you create a Memory Palace. You use imagination and visualization to create an internal space in your minds eye. And you should learn it as well as you know the inside of your own house. If someone moved your couch 3 feet you would say, “What’s with the couch?” You should know the inside of your Memory Palace just as well. And You always walk through it in the same order, and it’s got sort-or defining features. (Jennifer Dumpert gives examples of what she means …) (3:00) (…) So that’s the “Art of Memory” that’s the first source. (4:00) The 2nd Source is Australian Aboriginal DreamTime source. (…) The way that the mythology of the Australian Aboriginal works is in the Original Time the Creator has a Dream. (Jennifer Dumpert describes the Creator’s dream) (…) (5:00) So, if you were an Australian Aboriginal woman and you were pregnant, you would, the first time you felt the baby kick, you would mark the spot, and go and get an elder. And the elder would come and find out which of the “Paths” of these original animals, the baby first kicked on. So if I kicked on the “Path” that the Wallaby took when it was moving around then, the baby, is a “Wallaby Dreaming”. There’s a lot of Dreaming’s that one can be. This is only one feature of a complex system. The Wallaby Dreaming, the path that the Wallaby took to form that earth is called “the Song Line”. And there are “notes” of the Song. There are “notes” for every one of the features. (Jennifer Dumpert explains …) (6:00) You learn the “Song” that is “Your Dreaming”. You learn the Song Line of the Wallaby. And you “walk it” and you sing the notes of the various features. Doing that you are recreating creation constantly. What a “Walkabout” is, is when a young man, on initiation, walks a great length of his “Song Line” re-singing the world back into existence by singing the song of what the Wallaby did. So And when somebody is singing, song-line, when they’re walking, they are understood as being IN the DreamTime because actually superimposed over this world is the time of the dream of the Creator . So you are actually IN the Creator’s Dream. (6:44) When you are walking on the Song-Lines This world is superimposed over ours And The portals, the symbols, the mnemonic of creation and of the space between these two worlds is actually encoded ON the topographical features.
