Post Pictures Of Your Food Here, Without Discussion

So, I was thinking after seeing Tornado Joe and Mitzie's pictures of Labor Day. Post pictures of your food here. Not pictures of food, but pictures of something you have cooked.

Then when you want to make comments on the pictures you like, discuss them here:
Discuss posted food pics, including recipes/tips. -OpheliaBlue

haha what a great idea for a thread, I should have thought of it before

Bread bowls are great for soup, the more rustic the bread the better, because the outside is hard and crusty and in fact doesn't go all soggy, just the soft inside part (which is a GOOD thing). You just have to make sure that when you carve out the bread on the inside that you don't remove too much. Looks really yummy burns. I like to put seafood stews and chowders in mine. And w00t you saved the lid! My favorite part. My boyfriend always eats the part that I carve out heh.

Here's a gingerbread house I made last Christmas (I even made the windows out of melted crushed lifesavers because it looked just like glass, but then the right window cracked a bit because it was humid and the house 'shifted' I guess )

It IS possible to toast marshmallows during a rainstorm.

And, might I add, fewer marshmallow fires this way.

Did you buy a starter, or create your own? I've spent hours reading about the science of breeding your own yeast, but I just can't get it to work.

I created my starter, but the recipe for the starter wasn't that good, so I'm probably going to throw it out and start over next time.

Yeah it didn't taste bad after a year eithr! The icing was the consistency of caulk, but the inside was still yummy!

The bottom layer was white w/ raspberry swirl, the middle was chocolate (my fav), and the top was carrot (his fav).

Here's a pic of it on our wedding day, and the second so you can see it in relation to us for size.

Grilled a little somethin for mom, on mother's day:

Beer-battered brats, seasoned with crushed red peppers, onions and mushrooms. They were pretty damned good, too.

Spicy Root Beer and Bourbon Glazed Baby Back Ribs

Made these for my mom yesterday(Mother's Day)

      Oh My Gawd, they're delicious.

There's like 10 pounds of ribs chillin in my fridge, I think I'm gonna be sick of them by the time they're all gone, cause once she leaves for her house tonight(she can't bring them on the plane) they're all mine.
