I have the Samsung U740 which is pretty cool because it opens like a normal phone to talk or you can open it sideways for texting with the qwerty keyboard. Only problem is that it's Verizon and they are trying to make it impossible to put ringtones on their phones except for ones you buy from them for outrageous prices. I haven't tried out the music player yet but the speakers are great so it should be good (I need to get a micro sd card).

Really? I have Verizon. I put ringtones on mine for free easily. Just take an MP3, make sure it's 500KB or lower, change the extension from MP3 to MID, and attach it to an email to [email protected]. It's your 10-digit number (area code and number) without any spaces or hyphens.

Yeah I got that to work for a few recently but Verizon caught on a while ago and change them to .qcp now. I don't know why some have converted and some havn't. qcp is a really bad sounding format and is really quiet. I have a texting plan so i figure if I can get a couple to work a month then its cheaper than buying them.

      Here's mine:

Has it's pros and cons--internet could be faster, the included headphones are a really awkward design, and stay away if you're a SIM swapper, because the battery cover can be a pain. Aside from those weak points, I love the overall design and interface--I can snap a picture or open Opera Mini in two clicks. Half the time if I'm on DV during the day, I'm reading/posting from my phone.

With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Forgot to mention some awesome features:

WLAN - Touchscreen - 8gb memory - Hardware accelerated 3D graphics and support for Open GL ES graphics - 128MB RAM

      Sony Ericsson W960i Features

The W960 is a feature-packed Walkman phone including a 3.2 Megapixel camera, a large QVGA touch screen with a transreflective display, integrated WLAN, VoIP enabled, secure push email, Opera 8 web browser, RSS feed support and picture blogging.

      Other notable features include:

      • Tri-band GSM (900, 1800, 1900) and UMTS 2100.
      • 2.6 inch TFT touchscreen with 282,144 colours and 240 x 320 (QVGA) resolution.
      • 128MB RAM (double that of W950's 64MB, but effectively quadruple amount of available RAM after boot 20MB vs 80 MB).
      • Hardware accelerated 3D graphics and support for Open GL ES graphics (the W960 uses the same chipset as the P1i).
      • Enhanced UI including extra shortcuts on the idle screen (up to 15 from 5) including a more applications shortcut.
      • The ability to navigate through media stored on the phone using a stylus or your finger on the touch screen.
      • The ability to transfer music from a PC at the rate 1Gb every 3 minutes thanks to USB 2.0 PC connectivity.
      • Video playback at 30 frame per second full screen is al supported.
      • FM Radio with RDS
      • Media Manager PRO, a PC program for organising media and optimising music, video and photos for use on the W960. Media Manger will replace the existing Disc2Phone software. Media Manager features include:
      • SenseMe - automatically detects the mood of music when you import it into the phone allowing you to take better advantage of the Sense filtering / playback on the phone.

      • Transfer of music with automatic re-encoding if necessary and the ability to create play lists.
Imaging helps you move images both from and to the phone. It allows you to store images captured with the camera on the phone and to send images to the phone (including resizing to optimum size for wallpapers).
Media feed allow you to enjoy video and audio podcast on your phone.
      • Support for TrackID music recognition software allowing you to record a clip of a song and instantly find out the track title, artist and the album. Furthermore TrackID has been enhanced on the W950 to provide more detailed information about the song being identified and there now support for extra searching options (e.g. a text search just giving the bands name).
      • A stereo Bluetooth headset (HBH-DS220) will be included in the retail box in addition to the usual wired headset.
      • A redesigned look compared to the W950 with rounder edges and more defined keypad keys. The back key has moved from the side of the device to the keypad.
      • The usual range of UIQ and Sony Ericsson applications including the usual Document Viewers, Blogger, Opera Web Browser and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync email support.

My cell phone is so old that I can't find a picture of it.

It's an inch thick, 2.5 inches long, takes no pictures, does no texting, holds no music, but it does have a color LCD.

I doubt it's from this millenium.

But I have little use for cell phones, anyway.

I have the kind of cell phone that gets dropped in the snow when I get out of a cab and left there for two hours until my tiny little brain realizes what's happened.

And then four months before that I had the kind of cell phone that gets left to charge on a sill in front of an open window for someone to come steal in the middle of the night.
