Sounds harsh, but if you dont have insurance and something happens you only have yourself to blame!!

I need to move my ass to the states, sounds cheaper

Whats your tax on wages out there? Any better than here?

Adam I have had a filling before only a year ago trust me it does not hurt at all...I was well nervous and the drill kinda freaked me out but its fine you dont even feel the pain

oh and im with you on the DAM tax! and to make things worse the NHS dentist arnt even free any more! plus you have to wait like forever to be seen its why I choose private for dentists....unfortunatly I cant afford private health care which means I have to spend 8 or 9 hours in the hospital or I had to wait 11 weeks for a dam scan lol

I wish we had health insurrance over here it would make things so much easier plus $10 does not sound much whats the £5 I could deal with that

I'm not sure what the percentages are, but the deductions on every paycheck are Federal Income Tax, Social Security Tax, Medicare Tax, Michigan State Income Tax, Dental, Medical, and 401K (retirement plan).

Adam is not telling the truth. Britons DO NOT get free Dentistry. It is not covered in its entirety by the NHS. If you are lucky you can find an NHS dentist who is cheaper than a private one, but still costly. However, because the NHS treat them shoddily, dentists are increasingly going private-only, and this means that many cannot find an NHS dentist. This is an increasingly typical scene.

Regardless, NHS or not, Dentistry in the UK is not free. If you are under 18 and in education, it is free. From then on, unless you have severe financial difficulties, you have to pay.

Even if you are a poor student like me

Well I have not had this pain again (fingers crossed) so maybe it was something weird causing it which has now gone away? I hope

Yeah I get that sometimes too Adam it's like a sharp prick in the tooth and then it disappears. I noticed this comes and goes sometimes it hurts to chew and then the vast majority of the time I have no problems. It seems to be just something that comes and goes.
