Yes, we should all clarify that about ourselves for good measure, what with all the bannings and all.

In reference to the whole smoking thing (though the conversation has moved on), I'd like to mention that some of us have asthma, and being exposed to smoke causes anything from mild discomfort to a full-on asthma attack.

I don't care what people do, but at the very least I'd like the right to be able to breathe in public places without the risk of imminent death.

Quite possibly the only thing that really annoys me is being purposefully ignored. I'm not entirely sure why, but it drives me insane. Even if someone were to swear at me or something in reply, I would prefer it to being ignored.

AHHH!!! Your signature reminded me of something, Mink...

You know, I like to watch tv shows from Japan (yeah... Anime... There's no way you can't know this). And, a few months ago, or something, there was a series called "Code GEASS", which, it seems, was sponsored somehow by pizza hut.

So imagine this: you have this good series - or just a remotely good series... either way: you're enjoying the show, it's well made, etc.etc.. BUT!!! Suddenly this big friggin' PIZZA HUT box appears, somewhere in the third episode or something. It has not a single connection to the show, it is of no importance at all (apart from showing a minor-main character EATING), it just... somehow... appears out of nowhere. Now you might say that it isn't such a bad thing, because let's face it: advertisement happens in more series, even movies.

And I agree... Except for the fact that they VERY CLEARLY show the pizza hut box. It's like watching a very serious movie in which the main character orders something at the bar; it's not important. But SUDDENLY, he turns to the camera, and starts saying to the viewer, with a smile on his face, that "Coca Cola is the most wonderful drink ever. I always drink a few every day, or else I wouldn't have been able to live the life I am now. Coca Cola, the best coke there is", followed by a loud slurping of coke, after which he turns away, and casually returns into his role... That's how obvious and stupid it was!!!

And it's not just that, the dreaded Pizza Hut box just HAD to appear in almost EVERY EPISODE after that... for about 20 episodes long!!!!! That's 20 times the slurping advertisement!!!

That DOES get annoying, believe me... I found myself tsk-ing every episode... and it wasn't because of some stupid thing done by the characters...


BUT!!! That's not to say I dislike your sig (and if I did, who cares anyway? ). I must honestly say, that when I went to London for a week on a school trip last year, I ate at Pizza Hut once, and it was lovely... Much better than MacDonalds, I can tell you that... Though not a high-quality restaurant with michelin stars and whatever, it still has great food... So: if you're hungry sometimes and don't know what to eat, just go to the Pizza Hut...

*Turns away from camera taking a big bite out of a pizza, smiling*

Thankfully, people around here aren't too bad for that, probably because french numbers don't fit in any words.

It annoys me when people put the toilet paper roll on backwards. The end sheet should come over the top facing front, NOT down the back! GAWD!

My math teacher in 11th grade used the toilet paper thing as some analogy for why you shouldn't have square roots on the denominator.. he'd always be like, "Fix the toilet paper!" That dude was awesome.
