Thread: Tell Me About Your User Name

Well, I was on this MMORPG game, and I was going to make a new character. I couldn't find a good name, so I thought one up... Blakren! I liked it at first, but know its kinda lame.

I made this name expecting to get banned within the first day, but now it just kind of stuck. Also I'm a little more mature now.

i mad this with the letter of my first name and the rest of my last name. i thought it was alright. i use it for everything. (except my password so give it a rest...)

I first picked up while watching Battlestar Galactica she is the daughter of Boomer *a cylon* and Helo * a human* so i think will totally kick ass when she is older.
Oh and Hera is the wife of Zeus.

I killed the original owner of this account and impersonated him, so I don't why he picked that username.

I used to have a pet called peppermint and I use to call it peppy. One day I needed a username for something and I had no idea what to do so I just chose peppy. Woot woot.

I don't know. I use a different name on every thing that requires a username.

Completely made it up, I guess. Might have been influenced by the Dutch verb, lezen ("to read"), which I think looks and sounds cool, and some childish desire to use a diacritic mark.

Actually, I'm surprised that it actually allowed "ë", considering most forums aren't equipped to handle it in their usernames; they tend to want to turn it into an A~ or something like that.

Anyway, I have used this for multiple forums. If you see this name on another forum, there's an okay chance it's me.

a long time ago when i was playing runescape, i wanted a mythical name but everything was taken. i hate adding bers and symbols to names. i came to a making up my own and the start came from the thylacine. at also has the benefit of being very unique so its never taken.

I like things involving the mind and it's intricacies, and when picking a nick, the concept of a placebo (medicine that fools the mind) came to me.
Most people assume it was because of the band .. but it's a decent band, so whatever

BTW, did you know that a nocebo is a drug that does nothing physiologically, but causes harm to the 'patient' because they believe it is bad(tm) for them

i was going through one of my guitar phases where i constantly played my guitar and the brand was epiphone.
i somehow got eppy from it.
i kinda like it.
if i would have made the account now, it probably would

because its my grandmothers street name and i love how it sounds.

People tell me i have a dark personality so thats why "Dark", "Comrade" cos i like the word like the communist Russians woud say "Comrade Captain" instead of just Captain.
