Can we leave our sigs the same?

I think it'd be more effective without the sigs, simply because it'd probably look more sinister without a smiling cat in a santa hat

Sorry guys, I'm in, I'm just pretty busy with these 2 weeks being my finals and everything.

I agree, no sigs for the win! (Never had a sig myself)

So have we decided on a time?

Can someone sum up this thread for me quickly? I'm a little lost.

We're all going to remove our sigs, change our avatars to the one PJ posted, post only in offtopic, and only post ". . ." and have some fun.

How about this coming Thursday or Friday? I like the idea of perhaps Friday evening, and running it into Saturday.

How does that work for everybody? Alternate suggestions?

And who is missing from this thread? I haven't seen Oneironaut here... or Nina... quite a few others who aren't otherwise MIA.

In summary - this Friday afternoon or evening at some convenient time, all available staff will remove their sigs and change their avatars to the All Seeing Eye image:



Then we will all spend the next day or so posting to all active threads in the off-topic forums. The posts will only contain ". . ."

That's the two-bit tour of the plan as it stands right now.

We might add the use of invisibility mode to the mix too - just setting that in your User Options and saving.

So this Friday afternoon (after noontime whatever time zone we happen to be in), we change our avatars, remove our sigs and only post in the off-topic forums with the posts consisting of just three periods (...).

I do think that adding the use of invisibility mode to the mix (setting that in your User Options and saving) is a good idea because if they see that you're online, you'll instantly be flooded with questioning emails.

Noon is good for me! People can just jump onboard any time they can after that.

ok.. what if you want to put more than one space between the dots (for example three spaces), how would you do it? It seems to take but then when you hit submit/save, there is only one space.
