Is there an HD version? That jpeg is kinda crappy around the mountains and moon. I didn't notice the 3 satellites at first. That's an insane rendering, the water looks real.

Just get a pic of the DV logo and open it as a layer onto the other pic. Quite simple really.

If you don't have a photoshop type program get GIMP, it's free.

I haven't tried anything moonlit yet because I'm also trying to work out how to import Terragen terrains into Blender3D. I'd really want to be able to integrate an actual moonscape texture onto the moon (which I don't think you can do with Terragen alone), unless I have the moon mostly covered by clouds, and it's just the glare from the moon that is visible.

Actually, speaking of that, I might actually do it that way, just to see what I get.

But, if you have any renders, plesae by all means post them.
As of when I got it, it was on the main site. Though I'm not sure if it's still there. TG2 is a lot more complicated to use, at least to me, so I haven't messed around with it much yet.

I'm thinking I stumbled on a tutorial for importing Terragen terrain files into Blender once, but I can't remember where now. Let me see if I can dig it up for you. Also, Photoshop (or the GIMP) could do essentially the same thing. All you'd have to do is render the scene, open the image in Photoshop, and replace the moon with a bump-mapped sphere. Piece of cake. That's how the banner was done, if I'm not too far off.

I'll try to get some of my renders uploaded, I've actually got a few halfway decent ones laying around.

      [Edit:] Found something: http://www.blender.org/download/pyth...import-export/

      Scroll down to Ter2blend.

Yeah, I learned about Ter2blend a few days after I started messing with Terragen. I downloaded it but I haven't messed with it yet. It seems pretty technical to me, so far, because I know absolutely jack-shit about scripts, but I'll get it, eventually! Thanks for the link, though, Steel.
