      Tornado Rips Through Downtown Atlanta

      You know, many estimates show that major cities up north (New York, etc) may have to start bracing for hurricanes soon. If these kinds of winds rip through those cities, it's going to be Hell.

      Wow. We had a tornado go through downtown Salt Lake a few years ago. I hope I never have to go through one.

      As I said when O and I had this discussion last year, wanton consumeristic greed will get it's comeuppance.

      It's a shame that many decent people will get caught in the crossfire for unknowingly supporting an inherently flawed system simply by having been born into it and not knowing any better. One that hypocritically rapes the earth without regard for consequence.

      I don't think there's anything political about this, Solskye.

      It's just a rare occurrance that a tornado tears threw a downtown area, which is why I posted it.

      I'm not certain,very few, surprisingly, if any. I know they were talking about dozens of injuries, some of them life-threatening, but I'm not sure if anyone's died from that particular storm.

      However, the outer-Atlanta area is getting hit again, right now. At least one tornado has touched down right outside of Atlanta, and I've heard of 2 deaths being reported, so far.
