You know, I'm not really getting Demotivational posters. It seems to me to be a kind of pointless pursuit when most of the time the picture itself is as funny or often funnier than the little caption that is, the majority of the time, annoying as all living fuck. Every so often there comes along a Demotivational poster that is genuinely funny, but it seems to me that it is swimming amongst a sea of posters made by largely unfunny, lonely people who are under the impression that using the despair.com Demotivational generator to stick a needless caption around a mildly amusing picture will compensate for their lack of basic social skills, and such a funny Demotivator is soon forgotten in the listless despair I feel because of the fact that 90% of the internet is mostly bad people saying or doing bad things.

Demotivational posters, for me, are like tertiary syphilis: quite often passed around, not pleasant, and in the end going to make you appear as if a small angry bunch of children have roughly inserted golf balls under your epidermis like it were no more than Play-Doh for them to mould to their demonic heart's desire.

Maybe that's an unpopular opinion, but you know what? You're all probably dirty French Canadians for liking Demotivational posters anyway.

Don't talk shit about French Canadians. Seriously...

It's called having fun. Just like you had fun writing out your "I have original opinions" post. People do it for entertainment, for an outlet, for comedy. If you don't find them funny or amusing in the least bit than maybe you lack a sense of humor. Of course not everyone is going to be funny, some are annoying, some are stupid etc, but that's just like saying you don't like music because 90% of the music out there is annoying and like tertiary syphilis.

Woah guys, I wasn't actually going out to say "You guys can't look at Demotivationals!" I was just saying, "Here is my opinion." I'd hardly say I lack a sense of humour or anything anyway, seeing as most of that post up there was tongue-in-cheek in any case. And anyway, I don't consider not liking Demotivationals an original opinion anyway; I know a bunch of people who don't like the things.

I've got no problem with you guys posting your favourite Demotivationals, or laughing at them or whatever, that'd be bloody ridiculous. Go ahead, for all I care. Just pitching in with my two cents.
