Girls: Would you date a guy with glasses? Or should I chance my eye health with contacts?

I suppose you should get contacts but only wear them when you're going
out to meet people. The rest of the time wear your glasses. If you meet
someone and you both like each other then later you can tell her you'd
rather wear your glasses most of the time. If she likes you she wont care
and she should also be concerned for your health. Just have them to
wear when you go out. Anyway, it doesn't bother me if a guy wears glasses
and I wouldn't count him out just because he does. I'm not sure about other
      women though.

PS I have a girlfriend who wears her contacts only when she goes out. Theyre
blue and give her the most beautiful blue eyes. She has light blue eyes but
the contacts make her eyes very deep blue. Very alluring! At home and doing
normal stuff, she only wears her glasses.

I think the standard response is "If the girl judges you for wearing glasses, she doesn't deserve you" or something along those lines. So I would suggest do what's comfortable, which is probably glasses but I wouldn't know.

      Glasses are lovely.

Why wouldn't someone date someone just because they have glasses? How idiotic.

Because they are shasllow, and glasses/poor eyesight are a sign of physical weakness and dependence on outside influence to function properly. Plus, I have been told they cause one's face to not flow as evenly. (personally, I think glasses look nice on a girl, as long as they aren't those circle lenses people say are "so cute," or thick enough to cause noticable distortion.)

Hmm, question... Okay, what have you always wanted to tell guys that they probably wouldn't think of to ask? (yes, I know, it's a cop-out, I'll try and prepare a few questions for next time, but now that I think aboput it, it is a question that Iwould like to know the answer to)

That I hate cheap-ass Sci-Fi movies such as 'Mansquito' so bad that I'll
be pissed off (for a long time!) if I'm forced to watch it!!

As a sci-fi, Star Trek was pretty crappy. I mean, the new Battlestar Galactica does everything way better, including the sociopolitical crap that people always mention when defending Star Trek.

lol but in the 70s it was the best thing ever....we hadn't even seen
      star wars yet!
The old Battlestar Galactica was one I hated as well...the new one is
better, but I still don't watch it....I don't even watch 'heroes', I usually
      can't get into a sci-fi series but it's those dumb-ass movies I hate the
most!! My husband loves those crappy bad-actors, sci-fi movies and
every single sci-fi series or movie you can think of....he's watched or
is watching. He won't watch anything else......at all!! His tv is always
on the 'space' or sci-fi channel. I tried to get him to watch 'lost'
with me 3 yrs ago and he wouldn't, but guess what?? Now that theyre
playing on the 'sci-fi' channel right from season one, he's right into
now! I'm telling you.....if 'what not to wear' was on the sci-fi channel
      he would watch it!!
Oh well at least he doesn't watch sports at all...not even hockey! He's the
only Canadian man I know who isn't obsessed with hockey, or any sports
      for that matter....nope hes a sci-fi geek!!

(for instance, I think it would be safe to say that Pamela Anderson was
Tommy Lee's dream girl, but not his true love)

For me, they're one and the same. Odds are you aren't going to find both in the same person though. For marriage it'd have to be the true love, but for anything short of that, you have to go with the dream girl.

      No one really answered my question for the girls;

What are all the tricks/techniques you girls may have or may know to predict the size of a guys penis. I've heard some ridiculous ones and can't tell how these things even get started.

I would date a guy with glasses, absolutely. As a personal preference, I would hope that they would be a set of frames that went well with the shape of his face, but that's not that big of a deal. You get used to seeing someone a certain way, just as I got used to seeing myself in contacts after switching from glasses.

Do what you want. You're not "chancing your eye health" with contacts as long as you take care of them the way you should. Ask your optometrist if you're thinking about switching, but don't just do it for the ladies. If you're scratching your eyes all the time because they're uncomfortable, that gets distracting.

      At the girls;

      (Story time)

I had a part time job, so did she she was on the tills every sunday and we seemed to get on (smiling, talking, laughter(the full montage)) but never really managed to have an in-depth conversation at all.. she lived in the same general direction as me so I tried to walk home as often as I could be bothered just for a chance to talk to her, since she occasionally walked home herself... the only time that worked was her last day.. I gave her my email but she never emailed me, but on the way (happy/laughter all the way btw) she told me where her new job was (much better pay, cant say I blame her)... she works literally about 200 yards from my house! I even went in one day and asked when she worked... so I know where and when she works... but its been...about 4 months or so since she left (I kept count upto 8 weeks..).
Now I dont know what to do! Should I go and see her even though she didnt email me at all? Did she just lose my email?

It should be noted I'm socially retarded.
I have "work" and "school/college" friends but none otherwise.
I've never had a girlfriend except one girl I met who decided she liked a guy she had known on internet more than me...(too old, too far away, and he eventually cheated on her)

      Any ideas?!

Did you ever feel you may have come off as a little much, if you know what I mean. Or was she pretty receptive.

All you can do is ball gaze I guess....or ask lol which no one would ever do
I'd hope, but all I do is just hope for the best!

(btw I'd be interested to hear some of these techniques girls have told you
they have used because I know for a fact there is no way to tell how big a
man is just by looking at his crotch??? Do you mean by tricking him into
      spilling the beans or.....?)

She might have lost the email but wanted to email you. Maybe you should go
and see her and ask her....say something like....'hey....I thought you
must have lost my email address' ( then give her a winning smile!),
to me thats funny and she might laugh also and then tell you whats what.
It's funny because you're being so up front and brave and still kidding around
      at the same time.
But it could be that she didn't email you because she doesn't want to
encourage you to be on the make for her.....it's a hard question to answer,
but I know that there are many guys out there who wouldn't give up just
      yet!

      Question for girls:

How do you act around a guy you like/have a crush on?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

So put it into practice. The only people who are enforcing the status quo are men who ask women out. So just stop it. If you truly believe you're right, you will be able to go without a girlfriend to prove your point.

How about instead of being a wimp, you guys just ask the chick out. The reason it has been that was is because, as far as i know, girls like dominance in their partners, and that is one of the best ways to show your dominance.

Myself, I would really enjoy it if a girl asked me out, but I just feel like it would be a lot more correct if I did it.
