The point is more that the animal is killed as painlessly as possible (as opposed to botched job by fucktard rednecks) after being well-treated and is given some dignity in death, I suppose. As opposed to floppy chicken dance.

I've killed chickens to eat them due to country living. Do it properly.

Anywho, like has been said by others, the fact that a chicken has died doesn't bother me in the slightest, since I love a good bucket of fried chicken (although I smile when I think of the looks on PeTA members' faces if they were to see this). Like Maeni's saying, the chicken's pain receptors are effectively nullified, now that the brain is no longer there to send "holy fuck, that hurts!" messages to the rest of its body. No brain, no pain.

However, I agree that it's pretty screwed up to post it up on YouTube where any young child can see it. We don't need any more potential serial killers running around the world.

If I remember correctly, they're not actually alive. Their muscles are releasing energy and spasming. Snakes do the same thing, they slither for several minutes after their head is cut off.

I'm fine with the chicken being dead, but I don't think they should be allowed to post these kinds of things on Youtube for anyone to see.
