      What mutant power would you choose?

      I had this idea on another thread nearby. Thing's very simple. What X-men mutant power would you choose, and why?

      I'd love to see the answers to this.

      I want the power that gives me all the powers.

      Lol, his power is his healing and his bone claws. The metal claws are like an add-on. I don't know if his healing makes him completely invulnerable, but I think so since he can't be decapitated with his metal bones.

      ---

      Which reminds me I still haven't posted about me. I would choose being able to create force fields, just like the Invisible Woman does. Maybe because I'm a hell of an introvert, but also because I believe this is a waaay underrated ability. Taken hardcore, you could do things like fly or kill instantly.

      Definitely Jean Grey's abilities. Jean Grey / Phoenix > everyone else. "Oh but what if someone tries to shoot you?" Well, I'd sense that they were about to do something, and I'd stop the bullet and crush them into oblivion with my thoughts. Ftw.

      Telekinesis being the most powerful ability is very arguable. I believe that any ability at its best can be as powerful as Jean Grey / Phoenix's ones. Take Jean Gray without the Phoenix, and you'll see her abilities are barely useful for a real fight.

      Does anyone have something where you take/copy/kill people for their powers? That.

      Otherwise, I'd take what Phoenix has (super telekinesis/mind control etc.)

      The Rogue does keep one's powers if she sucks them until the person dies.

      Also, the Phoenix is more like a power enhancer than a mutant.

      Gambit, totally.

      Phasing through walls or teleportation seems kinda neat too, though.

      Except where I said Jean Grey/Phoenix I thought that being able to disintegrate someone by looking at them would be pretty useful in a real fight, but I could be wrong.

      As I've said already, anyone with their powers boosted enough could do some hardcore stuff. I think telekinesis is overrated, by a lot.

      there is a mutant called Lifeguard who, when faced with a situation where she is in danger, unconsciously manifests any power she needs. she doesnt control it at all, but i guess her powers are limitless.

      are we talking just X-men, or the whole of X-world?

      i would pick Mimic. he can copy any mutant ability, sometimes permanently. he had all original members of the X-men's powers permanently.

      The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
      With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.

      Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
      A thousand pictures fill my head,

      I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
      and yet my limbs seems made of lead.

      Immortality. If genes can code for teleportation and body-crushing mind powers, they sure as hell should code for being to never die.

      Telekinesis is the best power. It'd allow the user to:
      - levitate/fly;
      - kill someone easily without leaving a trace of evidence;
      - instantly and permanently damage someone's body/mind; (taking out someone's senses one by one sounds fun)
      - Are you an idiot?
      - No sir, I'm a dreamer.

      Once he chose to touch me (became 'touchable' again) his brain would instantly be pierced by my telekinesis.

      Also, becoming 'untouchable' wouldn't make him fall through the floor?

      Maybe he can control exactly what is touchable. In the case of the floor, the bottom of his feet.

      Same problem: the untouchable parts would fall through the rest. =\
