      TMNT -- do you remember?

Being a child of 1985, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a big part of my childhood. Does anyone else remember this show?

Here is a page where you can find the theme song:

P.S. I know they had a remake a while ago -- but it totally sucks! Nothing beats the original!

That question is equivalent to asking: "Do you like sex?"

Man that show was great. But I was really disappointed when I never found any pizza that was that stretchy in real life.

I still have a VHS copy of some episodes from ages ago! (The plastic is slightly yellowed )

I liked the movies a lot too.
It sucked when Shredder wasn't in the third one.

The Archie Comics TMNT series actually had its moments, like all the alternate dimension stuff, and when the turtles were touring all over the world, trying to get back to NYC and meeting mutants and gods and all sorts of stuff along the way.

I so downloaded that song!!! This was by far my favorite childhood show, and if they still showed the old version I would watch it every chance I got. I also had their games(the nintendo and super nintendo ones and then the sega roms). I also have so many of the action figures and shit. I will take a picture and post it here when I get home...

P.S. There is a new PS2 TMNT game which I have not yet played, but am definately gonna get it soon. Anyone here know if it's any good? (gonna get it anyway, though)

P.P.S I also used to have the leonardo costume with a plastic sword and shit...wow! those were such great times...I gotta get myself another one of those

we should have the art team scatter them all around this site...it would certainly be something good. For example we could have leonardo being the one thinking of dreamviews...well, this may take a while, but I will show you what I mean...

well, I've been too old for my taste for about 10 years now, so I guess I have come to accept it...at least as much as I am able to

How many seasons did the cartoon run?

IMO the Archie Comics TMNT series was the best Turtles incarnation, though the action figures were cool, too. I haven't read many of the original Eastman & Laird comic (started it all)--I get the impression it was more dark and gritty. I'm guessing someone still had a warehouse full of the toys and/or molds for making them, hence the new series.

EDIT: lol I just remembered that I wrote like 30 pages of a TMNT "novel" when I was about 14yo. omg that's fan-fiction. I wrote TMNT fan-fiction.

I still have some of he original episodes, and all 3 movies on my computer.

I do watch the new version sometimes, its alright but not as good as the original. The 1st movie was best!

Personally, I like the second one...but both are good. Leonardo goes well with the blue theme, too -- well, obviously. Hey! If we ever switched colors, we could just switch turtles, too.
