      Endangered Animals

      Before my son so rudely turned the channel, I was watching a show on Animal Planet about endangered animals.
      There was one that looked like a cross between a platypus, a beaver and an anteater (at least to me lol). It sounded like it was called "Desmond" and it may be located in Russia (another animal listed was a Russian Mink and the Elk).

      Anyone know what the animal was?

      I think you are referring to the Russian Desman.
