      Waxing for men?

The point is i want my leg hair to grow back thin and finer because i lost a bet and i had to trim all my leg hair and now it is all choppy and out of proportion and all coarse. and looks stupid. I dont want my hair to go, i just want it to grow back finer. Thats the point. So what could i use? Wax strips to remove the follicles completely?

Waxing over and over would eventually make the hair be finer, I think. That's what I've heard in the past anyway...

I think you should use wax.

If you just leave it alone, it will go back to how it was on its own. Might take a week, maybe a month or two. depends on how fast your hair grows, but it will go back.

I've just decided that you don't exist either.

I can't find the site, but it really doens't happen. If you're a hairy guy, it will come back hairy. If you're not, then it will grow back in thin. It's all genetics and shaving/ waxing doesn't determine how thick/ think your hair will grow back. Just leave it be and it'll be fine

If it's really patchy/ choppy, shave, then let it be

Eh, here's one. pretty much what I said. Genetics

He means he shaved it badly, and now it looks weird because of the bad shave, therefore it will look bad forever unless he does this.

Thanks for that link Armistice. I was always told that if a woman shaves peach fuzz above her lip, it will come in as thick as a man's mustache
I always took that as gospel and never even questioned it lol

I've never been one to wax, but I went through a phase where I would pluck all my leg hair instead of shaving. I hoped that by removing the "root", no more hair would grow. It took longer to grow back, but eventually it all did. It didn't change at all either. My body hair is light brown, but I have a few rebels which are black. After plucking them, they still grew back black lol.
I imagine waxing would have the same end results.

Yeah, I've heard the "shaving makes it thicker" is a myth.

However, I do believe there is some truth to the "waxing makes it thinner" idea. It may depend somewhat on the person. Here's a site that discusses it.

Speaking of waxing....what would be the best way to get rid of hair? if you shave it off it comes back thicker and darker, what if you want it gone forever? what would you need to do, then keep on doing since i hear you can't get rid of hair forever all at once.

      OLD WIVES' TALE ALERT‼
That's not true. Hair growing has to do with hormones and family traits, not shaving or any of that shit. Your body doesn't notice when you shave it, so why the hell would it make it grow back more??

Have you ever noticed that arm/ leg/ other hair (other than on your head) seems to stay a constant length? This is because it naturally falls out at a certain time. So his spotty leg hair would eventually become normal looking. I say just shave it once to start clean (pun not intended) and forget about it

      Lol, your welcome

I, too, have random black hairs. I usually get one on my left eyebrow and I'll find them if I haven't shaved my face in a while, or a random one on my arm. I get some grey/ white hairs randomly as well
